Create match

Competition is just a label, like a league or series name — it doesn't need to be unique.

Tournaments

Create and view Bracket, Swiss, Double-elimination and Round-robin tournaments. For a Single-match or Team-match, use Matches instead.

Create tournament

Just give it a name for now — add players afterward from the Players tab.

Archive

Past tournaments and their final results.

International tournaments

Tournaments elsewhere worth knowing about — follow the link for more details.

Add international tournament

This just posts a listing — it doesn't create a tournament in BG Livescore. Only the name is required.

Add a freeform match — no bracket or Swiss structure needed. Score it in the Report tab.

Team matches

Add a team-vs-team match — 3, 4 or 5 individual games decide it (a 4-game match can end in a tie). Score it in the Report tab.

Tournament bracket

Create a knockout bracket for your tournament.

Matches often run longer later in the tournament — adjust the points per round as needed.

Draw the bracket

Paste one player per line, then either shuffle them randomly into the draw or place them in entry order (1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, …) — e.g. to replicate a real-world draw exactly. Use the arrows below to nudge someone up or down if the entry order isn't quite right. Either way, if the list is shorter than the bracket, the top matches each get two players and only the bottom matches get a bye — one bye per match, starting with the last player in the list in the last match.

Bracket placement

Edit any slot directly for manual placement. An empty slot gives the opponent a bye in the first round.

Swiss tournament

Create a Swiss-system tournament for your players.

Players

Paste one player per line, at least three players. With an odd number of players, one player gets a free bye each round.

Format

Players are paired against opponents with a similar record each round, avoiding rematches where possible.

Everyone plays every round — no one is knocked out.

Double elimination

Create a double-elimination bracket — lose twice and you're out.

Pick round 1's length to set a starting point — every other round below (Consolation and the Grand Final too) follows it until you adjust that round on its own.

Bracket placement

Edit any slot directly for manual placement — e.g. to replicate a real-world Main bracket draw round-by-round exactly, so results can be live-reported from that same starting point. An empty slot gives the opponent a bye in the first round.

Round-robin

Everyone plays everyone — enter results straight into the table.

Players

Paste one player per line, at least two players.
